Exam Analysis JEE MAIN 2013
JEE MAIN 2013 offline exam was conducted on Sunday, 7th April, 2013. More than 12 lakh students appeared in the OFFLINE and ONLINE modes Entrance Exam.
PHYSICS :
Overall, it’s a difficult paper if compared to previous year AIEEE paper.If a student is conceptually strong, he must have solved this paper.This year there are more graphical questions compared to last year’s AIEEE physics paper.Distribution of questions from the Class 11 portions was not uniform across the syllabus. Some areas like Heat & Thermodynamics, Oscillations & Waves retained higher representation compared to areas like Laws of Motion or Motion in 1-D.
CHEMISTRY :
Overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2013 Chemistry paper is almost similar to previous year AIEEE paper.In separate sections, Organic Chemistry was easier, inorganic was tougher and Physical Chemistry was nearly same as previous year AIEEE paper.In contrast to Physics the distribution of questions across areas was more or less uniform. But questions were mostly based on important concepts across units and this means there were no surprise concept questions.
MATHEMATICS :
If compared to previous year, this year’s Mathematics paper is an Easy one.Over all it is a good and balanced paper and a easy one if student had prepared the subject without cramming it.Only few questions would have posed difficulty due to the lengthy nature of these questions.

AIEEE Physics 2012 Exam Analysis

AIEEE 2012 was divided into 2 parts- Paper 1 and Paper 2
Paper 1 had 3 sections namely; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section comprised of objective type questions with 4 choices. Paper 1 has a negative marking system where 0.25 marks will deducted for each wrong answer.
Paper 2 had 3 sections namely; Drawing, Mathematics and Aptitude. Aptitude section comprised of drawing based questions while mathematics and drawing section had objective type questions.
• Physics and Chemistry - 150 multiple choice based questions with equal weightage to Physics and Chemistry - Total marks 450
• Mathemtics - 75 objective type questions - Total marks 225
• Aptitude Test Part I - objective type questions - Total marks 150
• Aptitude Test Part II - questions to test drawing aptitude - Total marks 75

Exam Analysis AIEEE 2011
Nearly 12 lakh students appeared in All India Engineering Entrance Exam in year 2011 in a three hour paper
The pattern was similar to AIEEE 2010 with nearly similar difficulty level. The paper was quite balanced with some questions from maths posing problems to candidates.
The paper was equally covered from both class XIth and class XIIth syllabus. In Physics around 44% paper was from class XIth and 56% from class XIIth. The same was case with Chemistry. However in Maths there were more questions from class XIIth , around 60%  and 40% from class XIth. You can practice on simulated AIEEE Old paper including AIEEE 2011 and as well as simulated mock tests and unlimited  test patterns in Test Simulator module.
